You went into your kitchen and smiled at Romano. He looked at you up and down before looking at the tomato in his hands. He cleared his throat awkwardly and mumbled, "You look really nice tonight..." "Thank-you...you look very nice also." You said as you kissed his cheek. Romano blushed furiously as he took a bite of his tomato. After a few moments of eating the red treat, he grabbed your hand and walked out of the door.

To spend an evening with me

The two of you arrived in time for Alfred's party and spend the evening together talking to some people, including, to Romano's annoyance, Antonio, who kept asking where the 'bebés' were and why they were taking so long.

And if we go someplace to dance

You were slightly surprised when Romano asked you to dance with him. You took his hand and the two of you waltzed quietly around the room. He glanced at you now and then and opened his mouth to say something but would always close it at the last moment.

Then afterwards we drop into a quiet little place
And have a drink or two
And then I go and spoil it all
By saying something stupid
Like I love you

The two of you stopped dancing after the song was over and walked over to the small bar. Romano ordered 2 Italian sodas for both of you. You looked at the drink, and tasted it. You didn't notice how Romano watched you with a small smirk. You met his gaze and smiled politely. Romano blinked a few times and stared at his drink.
"Ti amo..." he muttered as he gave you a quick peck on the cheek. You blushed slightly but smiled inwardly at your husband. Romano blushed furiously again, and continued to stare at his soda as he muttered, "Sorry...that was stupid..."

The two of you left the bar to use the restroom. Walking in the ladies' room, you stared at your reflection in the mirror, while Romano did the same in the mens' room. Without realizing it, the two of you said in unison, "Ti amo...."

I practice every day to find some clever
lines to say
To make the meaning come true
But then I think I'll wait until the evening
gets late
And I'm alone with you

Both of you left the restrooms and walked out on the balcony together.You rested your arms against the railing and sighed in content. Romano stood beside you silently.  You looked up and marveled at the star's beauty as Romano marveled at your beauty.

You shivered slightly but was immediately warmed up as Romano draped jacket around your shoulders and hugged you tightly for extra warmth. You breathed in his scent as you nuzzled his chest. You felt him rest his chin on your head as his hand rubbed your back affectionately.

Romano's hand cradled your face gently as if he was afraid to break you. Your lips touched softly before he parted away in reluctance. Romano's hazel eyes gazed into your _e/c_ eyes, gleaming with admiration and happiness. He pulled you closer as he gave you a passionate kiss. You draped your arms around his neck, your hands getting tangled in his brown hair. The two of you parted due to the lack of oxygen and rested your foreheads against each other's.
